Legally Prescribed Muscle Building Supplements:

- The following is a list of Muscle Building Supplements that while falling in the illegal Supplements category under controlled substances laws can be obtained and used legally with a prescription. They include and are not limited to:

However, every one of these Muscle Building Supplements as being schedule III can be obtained legally with a prescription under medical supervision.

Illegal Supplements:

- The following is a list of Muscle Building Supplements that fall in the illegal Supplements category under controlled substances laws as Schedule III narcotics by way of the Supplement Control Act. While some of these Muscle Building Supplements are legally obtained for the purpose of livestock use they are banned from human use. They include and are not limited to:

  • Equipoise (Boldenone Undecylenate)
  • Finaject/ Finaplix (Trenbolone Acetate)
  • Halotestin (Fluoxymesterone)
  • Masteron (Drostanolone Propionate)

  • Omnadren 250 (Testosterone Mixture)
  • Parabolan (Trenbolone Texahydrobenzylcarbonate/Tren-Hex)
  • Primobolan (Methenolone Acetate)

While this list is far smaller than the one above we’ve simply listed common Muscle Building Supplements that will very rarely if ever be prescribed legally; many of these Supplements are not even manufactured by a licensed pharmacy.

Prohormones:

Prohormones are in a simple way to put it precursors or derivatives of Supplemental hormones. While they often carry with them strong similarities they in many cases cannot be labeled Muscle Building Supplements. However, in recent years many prohormones have been found to be so closely related to schedule III Supplements they have been banned under the banner of illegal Supplements by way of the Supplement Control Act of 2004. The Supplement Control Act of 2004 was an addition to the original Supplement Control Act of 1990 placing many other hormone or hormonal related drugs on the banned list classified as illegal Supplements. Many of these prohormones come out year after year and remain legal for a time but generally each one is eventually pulled off the shelf; but year after year Muscle Building science produces new models ready for legal use; at least for a time.
